This intense four hour workshop will give you the necessary tools to get your importing business up and running the moment you leave the classroom.

The workshop will outline all the information you will need to start your own importing business.

The Workshop has five sections:

  1. Sourcing Products: The workshop will introduce you to thousands of products from around the world i.e. Morocco, Sweden, China, Italy, India, Mexico and Brazil. You will be amazed at the quantity and quality of products available to import and will have immediate access to brand new products never before seen on the U.S. market.
  2. Starting the Business: You will learn the best and most cost effective way to set up your importing business.
  3. How to Pay Your Foreign Suppliers without Financial Risk: Your supplier has the goods and you have the cash. CAI will show you how to minimize financial risk and receive the goods in perfect condition.
  4. International Transportation and Documentation: CAI workshops will teach you the best mode of transportation to move your freight i.e. Air/Ocean/Ground. We will also discuss and view any and all required documents needed by U.S. Customs.
  5. Working with U.S. Customs: CAI likes to teach the business of importing as simply and straight forward as possible. In this section we will learn the in’s and out’s of U.S. Customs; we will teach you about your responsibilities as an importer.

At the end of the class we will spend some time discussing selling strategy. Now that you have the goods, what’s the best way to distribute your products here in the U.S.A.
